Our group piano lessons for ages 4 and 5 are designed to spark creativity and foster a love for music, while teaching them the basics of beginning to play the piano. For kids ages 6 and up, we use the Piano Express curriculum, so young learners can enjoy a fun and interactive environment that encourage collaboration.

Piano Express App

With our group classes, students gain access to the Piano Express app, making at-home practice enjoyable and effective. This innovative tool helps reinforce what they learn in class, ensuring steady progress and confidence.

Advanced One-on-One Lessons

Once students complete the Piano Express curriculum, they can transition to advanced one-on-one lessons. These personalized sessions focus on refining skills and exploring more complex pieces, tailored to each student's unique interests and goals.

About Richmond Hill Piano Studio

Mrs. Abby has over 20 years of experience teaching piano. She began teaching in high school and went on to teach in the Savannah Chatham County School System. She went on to run her own piano studio. She has a Masters degree in teaching and specializes in teaching gifted students and students special needs. She's taught 100s of students and is able to ensure tailored instruction that meets each individual child's unique musical journey. Join us in creating joyful musical experiences for all children!

What services do your offer?

We offer group piano lessons for children aged 4 and 5, as well as group classes for students aged 6 and up. Once students complete the Piano Express curriculum they can transition to advanced one on one lessons tailored to their individual goals.

Who is Bach?

Bach is our studio mascot. He is a rubber chicken named after Johann Sebation Bach. The kids love him and he makes an apperance in group lessons quite often....... IYKYK!

Do I need anything at home for lessons?

Yes! I reccomend a keyboard with 88 weighted keys and MIDI access, as well as a laptop, chromebook or ipad that can be connected to the keyboard with a usb to host chord. All group classes come with access to the Piano Express app for at home practice, allowing students to practice at home effectively. Feel free to contact Mrs. Abby for help setting the app up at home.
